| Marvelle
Finch models an ensemble from
Maggie’s in Old Town Spring. |
The April Sound Ladies Association
enjoyed a "Christmas in
November" style show narrated by
Betty Chandler of Maggie’s in Old Town
Spring. Modeling the glitz and glamour
were past presidents Ruth Cant, Mary
Feldman, Beverly Cox and Pat Whitman.
Current board members on the runway were
Marvelle Finch, Dolores Power and Carole
Labby.
Betty is a singer of considerable
talent and she was asked to include some
Christmas songs in the program and they
brought down the house. Betty has sung
professionally since she was seven years
old and has appeared at Carnegie Hall.

| Lucy
Lewis with her watercolors. |
Lucy Lewis was the featured artist and
her award-winning watercolors brought her
many compliments.
Each yeas ASLA members take a name or
several names from the Salvation Army and
hit the stores to shop to brighten someone’s
Christmas. Some of the gifts go to area
nursing homes, others to children served
by the Army.
