Who We Are

April Sound artists came away winners at the recent judged show of the Conroe Art League. Over 100 paintings were displayed in the Atrium Lobby of Conroe Regional Medical Center.

Joanne Quinn was a first place ribbon with her oil painting "Celadon Vase". Lucy Lewis walked away with a first place ribbon for a watercolor entitled "Afternoon Shadows" and a third place for "White Iris".

Both of these artists competed in the professional category.

Competing in the non-professional category were Mary Devine for a first place ribbon in abstract watercolor "September 11" and another first place for "Juggling Jugs". Doris Wright received a first place ribbon for an oil painting of her granddaughter "Catherine", and Myra Hill took honorable mention for oil painting entitled "The Wise One".
