CAPE CONROE MEN'S CLUB NEW MEMBERS WELCOME

Happy 3rd Birthday wishes to the Cape Conroe Men's Club. Founded by Ken Jost and a group of volunteers the organization has grown to thirtyfive members. Following a similar pattern of the Cape Conroe Ladies' Society, the Men's Club is a community service and social organization for the residents of Cape Conroe.
The men meet on the first Saturday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the clubhouse. Members and guests are welcomed with coffee and donuts followed by fellowship and interesting programs. If you have an idea for a program or a speaker, contact Ken Jost at 9364486654.
George Weekley, Dewitt Reagan and Gene Montgomery join Chairman Wayne Coffman to form a nominating committee to present a slate of officers at the April meeting. Contact any of the committee, if you are interested in serving as an officer.
Members of the Men's Club are an assortment of ages, careers, and retirees with something of interest to everyone. Plan to attend the next meeting on Saturday, April 3rd.
Members of the Cape Conroe Ladies' Society had a lot of laughs at the meeting last week as they guessed the identity of the baby pictures. Thanks to Ruth Zwimpfer and Rosie Besch for the wonderful and delicious sandwiches and cakes. Dorotha Guinn assisted with the St. Patrick's theme decorations and food.
The Cape Conroe Ladies' Society birthday Lunch Bunch will meet on Tuesday, March 16th at the Relay Station Caf1. It is located on Highway 105 West at Plantersville. Members are to meet at the caf1 at 11:30 a.m. Anyone needing a ride or directions to the restaurant, contact Pat Wren or Rosemarie MacCartney.
The May Birthday Lunch will be at Martha's Bloomers in Navasota on Tuesday, May 18th.
Bill Wren is home following a hospital stay at Conroe Regional Medical Center.
My husband, Dick, is also home following a stay at Conroe Regional Medical Center. His daughters, Vickie Malerbo and Cindee Wolk, were here from Pittsburgh for a few days. Fortunately Dick was released from his unexpected hospital stay the day they arrived for their planned visit.
Vickie and Cindee enjoyed browsing through the shops in Montgomery with Lori and Karen. They loved our warm and sunny weekend weather, especially for the early morning walks with Betty Radcliffe, Evelyn Parzyck and me.
Until next week take care, be safe and give someone a hug! Have a Great Week!
