HAPPY EASTER CELEBRATIONS!
Ben and Carol Clary celebrated the Easter holiday with their daughter and soninlaw, Michelle and Eric Imhoff, and grandsons Benton and Daniel. They began their celebrations on Saturday by attending an Easter Egg Hunt at the Fellowship of the Woodlands Church. Approximately 2000 children ran with delight as they hunted for the hidden eggs.
The Clarys and their family enjoyed the Easter Buffet at Del Lago on Easter Sunday. Carol told me the food was like being on a cruise ship from the fluffy omelets to the gorgeous assortment of seafood and entrees to the bananas foster for dessert. Benton, 6, and Daniel, 3, had a great time at the Easter Egg Hunt and petting the animals at the Petting Zoo at Del Lago. They saw baby chicks of all colors, goats, rabbits and a donkey just to name a few of the animals.
Chester and Evelyn Parzyck enjoyed the Easter holiday with their son and daughterinlaw, Scooter and Gina Parzyck, and granddaughters, Stephanie and Randi with dinner at Benihana Japanese Restaurant in the Woodlands. After a wonderful dinner, they browsed through the shops at Old Town Spring.
Milton and Jane Laake enjoyed spending the Easter holiday with their daughters, Delaine Neels and Marla Ringo and their families. Their granddaughters, Paige and Darby Ringo, and Samantha and Amber Neels and Kimie, a friend of Paige's, had a great time hunting Easter eggs in the house. Paige, Darby, Kimie, Samantha and Amber took turns hiding the eggs for each other.
Dick and I had a great Easter holiday with our families. Karen and Dana Nixon were here with Samantha, Matthew and Jamie from Houston. Bob and Zachary Sanford came from the Woodlands to enjoy home cooking and the Easter Egg Hunt. Also here from Pittsburgh was our grandson, Frank Malerbo, who was visiting friends in Houston. The grandkids loved their quacking and singing ducks very noisy for an indoor Easter!
Members of the Cape Conroe Ladies' Society enjoyed their bluebonnet trip to College Station last week. The wild flowers were beautiful with their bright colors against the green grass. We ate lunch at Cheddars Restaurant before touring the George Bush Library. Everyone liked browsing through the museum and the shop at Martha's Bloomers where we had delicious desserts and coffee. Welcome aboard to new members Joann Shannon and Gilma Mauch. Thanks to Evelyn Parzyck for selecting the great restaurants.
Until next week take care, be safe and give someone a hug! Have a Great Week!
