July 4th Celebrations
Skip and Ann Lambert enjoyed the Fourth of July holiday with their family. Spending the weekend with Skip and Ann were Chris and Debbie Tritico and their children, Melissa, 13, Christopher, 9, and a friend of Melissa's, Vickie Lambert, Ronnie and Donna Lambert and their children, Kelsey, 7, and Mallory, 5, and Chris and Carmen Dowell and their daughter Katie Beth, 2.
The Lamberts had a great time taking their children and grandchildren for boat rides, swimming, watching the fire works demonstrations and being together. One of the highlights of the weekend was the entire family attending the service at St Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville on Sunday.
Skip and Ann Lambert will celebrate again next weekend when their grandson, Christopher Dowell, is here for a few days. Christopher, a United States Marine, will be returning to Iraq for his second tour of duty.
Nick Dowell, Christopher's brother, and also a United States Marine returned to Iraq for his second tour of duty in January.
You can send Christopher or Nick a message and view pictures of them on the website created by their father, Chris Dowell. Click onto www.dowellusmc.com to wish them well. Chris also has information and pictures about other marines from the area.
Esther Fifield and her nephew, David Fifield, recently visited family and friends for Father's Day in Red Oak, Iowa. Esther enjoyed the drive with David and catching up on the news of her friends.
Happy July Birthday wishes to Bettye Weekley and Lue Smith.
Until next week take care, be safe and give someone a hug! Have a Great Week!
