More Holiday Celebrations

Ben and Carol Clary attended the fireworks demonstrations in The Woodlands with their daughter Michelle Imhoff and her family. According to Carol the red, white, blue and gold fireworks were magnificent and different.
The Clarys attended a birthday party for Paulette Wallace in Willis over the holiday weekend. Approximately one hundred family and friends enjoyed delicious barbeque with all the trimmings and birthday cake at the outdoor party.
Happy Birthday wishes to Ben Clary. Carol surprised Ben with a trip to Galveston for his birthday. They toured the Moody Gardens and shopped on the Strand. Ben enjoyed surf fishing in the 85degree water. Ben and Carol played a round of golf during the birthday weekend.
Cape Conroe was showered with beautiful fireworks on July 4th. Dale Waters daughter and soninlaw, Sherry and Steve Hultquist, choreographed the fireworks display over Lake Conroe. Steve's display lasted over one hour with patriotic music accompanying the fireworks. Johnny and Sandy Nikirk along with other neighbors helped finance and clean up afterwards.
Skip and Ann Lambert and their family attended the Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration at Cedar Brake Park in Montgomery. Ann told me that there were activities for all ages to enjoy. Their children and grandchildren had a great time participating in the sack race, threeleg race and getting their faces painted. The best part of all the fun was that it was free!
Ann and her grandchildren also had fun attending 'Color My World' at the Montgomery Library last week. The weekly activities at the Library have had a great response during the summer.
Frank and Rose Ann Zolka recently returned from Tyler, Texas where they helped their daughter and soninlaw, Fran and Tim Allen, and children move into their new home. They were busy unpacking boxes and moving, but did take time to eat out a few times and visit Tim's parents who live in the area.
Tuesday, June 20th the Ladies Society Birthday Lunch will be at the Ming Restaurant in Montgomery at 11:30 a.m.
Until next week take care, be safe and give someone a hug! Have a Great Week!
