Happy Birthday Chester, Milton And Wayne

Happy Birthday wishes to Chester Parzyck, Milton Laake and Wayne Coffman. They enjoyed lunch at the Caddy Shack with their wives, Evelyn Parzyck, Jane Laake and Lynn Coffman to celebrate their birthdays. Chester and Wayne celebrate the same birthday with Milton following next week.
Chester and Evelyn Parzyck spent a few days relaxing in Fredericksburg, Texas as part of Chester's birthday celebration. They stayed in a quaint Bed and Breakfast Inn with individual cottages.
The Parzycks enjoyed browsing in the shops in Fredericksburg and eating out. On their way home they toured the Texas History Museum in Austin.
Wayne and Lynn Coffman celebrated Wayne's birthday with dinner at Hyden's Steak and Seafood Restaurant. The Coffmans and two of their neighbors enjoyed a delicious dinner and birthday celebration.
Milton and Jane Laake recently spent a few days in the Austin area. They visited with their granddaughter, Lynn, and her friend, Alex, and their great grandson, Cameron. Twoyearold Cameron delighted everyone at dinner at the Cherry Creek Catfish Company where Jane's nephew, T.J. Hill, is a waiter.
The Laakes drove through the beautiful hill country to the Oasis Restaurant. They enjoyed a delicious dinner and the view of Lake Travis.
Lynn Coffman and her daughter, Sandra Glenn, recently attended the Texas Choral and Orchestra Directors Association convention in San Antonio. Lynn is the music director at Grace Presbyterian in Victoria in addition to teaching.
The ladies attended the various concerts and shopped for music and related items at the convention. They enjoyed a Bar B Que dinner at the LaVieta during the convention.
Peri Beall recently returned home from visiting friends in California. Peri was quite busy helping her friends and touring the sights. They went to Old Town and to Balboa Park. An unforgettable experience was seeing the USS Ronald Reagan come in to port. She said that the huge ship is spectacular. There was a beautiful fireworks display that night to celebrate the ship coming home.
Peri enjoyed lunching at her favorite restaurant the Bali Hai on Shelter Island. She sat in the window area and watched the ships and boats going in and out of San Diego Bay.
Peri's spent a few days visiting with her sister who lives in South Carolina. She had a great time showing her sister and brotherinlaw the sights in San Diego. They took a trolley ride to see San Diego with stops in Old Town and Sea Port Village. The weather was perfect for a picnic with friends one afternoon.
Peri went sailing with her friend Chuck on her last day in California. The calm ocean with a slight breeze and wonderful weather were perfect for sailing. Chuck almost caught a yellow tail fish, but it got away! As always, Peri had a great time, but is glad to be home.
Thanks to Dorothy Cullison and Olivia Roberts for their delicious snacks at the Cape Conroe Ladies' Society meeting last week.
Tuesday, August 24th the Ladies Society Lunch Bunch will celebrate the August birthdays with lunch at Hyden's. Meet at the restaurant at 11:30 a.m.
Until next week take care, be safe and give someone a hug! Have a Great Week!
