CONGRATULATIONS EMILI STOWE

Pictured is Emili Stowe who was crowned Pretty Little Princess at the Starfire Pageant. She is pictured with her trophy and crown. |
Congratulations to Emili Stowe on being crowned Pretty Little Princess at the Starfire Pageant. Emili, 2 1/2 years old, won a beautiful trophy for her age group at the pageant held at the Greenspoint Marriott in Houston. She modeled two outfits as she waved to the crowd and spoke with the judges.
Attending the pageant to cheer on their little sister were her brothers, Alan, 9, and Jered, 4. Emili's proud parents, Brent and Toni Stowe, were more nervous than Emili during the competition.
Jim and Gilma Mauch recently returned from Toronto, Canada where they attended the wedding of their grandson, Matthew Kohler, and his bride, Tiffany. Matthew and Tiffany reside in San Francisco, but returned to Tiffany's home in Toronto for the wedding. The marriage ceremony was in the solarium of the Casa Loma, a castle built in 1911, with the reception following in a beautiful ballroom. Guests at the wedding took the grand tour of the castle and the manicured grounds. Family members from as far away as China attended the wedding along with Jim and Gilma's daughters Jacque Kohler, Stacey Kanzler and her family.
Jim and Gilma enjoyed their first visit to Toronto as they took a boat tour of Lake Ontario, went to the top of the C.W. Tower and visited Niagara Falls.
Adding to the excitement of the weekend, the Mauchs became great grandparents when their granddaughter, Ivy Fleming, had a baby girl two weeks early. Baby, Kylie Pearl, and parents Ivy and Greg Fleming are all doing great.
Grandmother, Jacque Kohler, was quite anxious to see her granddaughter for the first time. Jim, Gilma and Jacque spent a few days in Chicago visiting and spoiling the new baby.
Sunday, October 2nd is the Annual Property Owners Meeting at 2:00 p.m. at the clubhouse. Please plan to attend, as several important subjects will be discussed that concern all Cape Conroe residents. Elections for board of directors will also be held at the meeting.
If you are interested in running for a board of director position or an alternate position, write a short resume about yourself and why you want to be on the board and mail it to Kingwood Association Management at 1102 Kingwood Drive, Suite 104, Kingwood, Texas 77339 or fax it to Ethel McCormick at 2813598067.
Happy September Birthday wishes to Betty Gregory and Catherine Woodruff.
Happy September Anniversary wishes to Art and Cile Murray.
Until next week take care, be safe and give someone a hug! Have a Great Week!
