Hey Ya’ll! Hope all is well with everyone in our area and most of all I hope everyone got their paperwork off to your favorite uncle--yep, Uncle Sam is waiting patiently for your IRS filing, you know if we all got together and boycotted that bunch of scoundrels one year, what would they do put us all in jail! I heard recently that U.S. Representative Kevin Brady was sponsoring a Bill to eliminate the IRS- hope you can pull it off Congressman Brady, but what special favors are you going to promise and what will they cost us? If you can do so without strings attached you’ll win office forever and ever Amen.

Last Saturday Fred Schurr and I had two cups of coffee and discussed insurance rates together and we did so while waiting in line on FM 149 at the light! Guess what Fred? I spoke with one of our local MPD officers, Stuart Hightower and he advised that TX-DOT is planning on re-setting the timing especially at peak times- sure hope so, but it will cut back on mine and Fred’s visiting hours--oh well speaking of traffic-also last Saturday Glen Thompson and I thought we were in an INDY RACE together! Both of us were traveling eastbound on the SH105 AUTOBAN doing the proper 55MPH when some jerk in a white Mercedes came up out of nowhere and almost rear-ended Glen! I slowed enough to let the jerk go in front of me and Glen and I watched in utter awe and amazement as this jerk nearly ran several vehicles off the road. When I got next to Glen’s truck we were both shaking our heads but both of us gave the jerk a friendly wave goodbye! To top it off this trick-driving, soon to kill someone idiot only went about a half mile before he turned into a business, sure was in a hurry- I hope he was late!

Speaking of the SH105 Autoban and the I-45 Speedway I met a real nice DPS Officer at my MCN office the other day. Officer Lencho Adamie and his bride came by on his day off and we visited for awhile. Officer Adamie come to Montgomery County from out Alpine way and Monte and I wish him the best, and Lencho, you stay safe out on those roads! Speaking of Monte, his father-n-law came by to say hello to all the folks out "Scoots Ridge" way-- ok, Pop Steed, it’s a done deal!

Ya’ll all join me in welcoming a new addition to Montgomery’s business section. Randy and Laurie Ille owners of Country Accents are the proud parents of Baby Boy, Joshua Allen Ille, born April 11th weighing in at 8 lbs 3oz. Dad Randy was all smiles April 15th and said both Joshua and Laurie are doing fine. Congratulations ya’ll!

One of Cody’s coaches at Montgomery Junior High School will be taking the big step as he and his fiancee will be united in marriage in June. "Coach V" as I call him is a fine young coach that our kids respect-no wonder he’s an Aggie! I have a question Coach V, how did you wind up with such a pretty girl and how are ya’ll going to deal with those name? He new name will be Lynsey Franczeska Krawietz Vinikoff! Best wishes and years of happiness to you both.

Hey ya’ll remember the "schindig" planned for June-- that’s right--STACY SHARP will be the BIG ?? Can’t tell ya’ll just think black balloons! Yee ha!

From Montgomery’s Sagebrush Philosopher until next time. Good Cow Call’n. Good Frog Gigg’n and Go Ags.
