Hey Ya’ll! It’s hot, no rain and we haven’t even gotten into summer yet. Dr. Carwille and I were talking the other day and we both agreed that we would probably get a 20 incher all in one day!

This writer would like to give a special thanks to Carl, Jerry, Greg and all the guys who worked on the crew that recently repaired our roads in Shannon Place. They work for Smith & Company in Conroe and were contracted to do the work by our Commissioner Mr. Craig Doyal. This crew does quality work and I am quite familiar with them since they worked on TX-DOT roadways during my Inspector days. Thanks guys, great job! Hey Sissy K how was that for fixing up your bus route?

An update on Dr. Flottmann’s SAD COW DISEASE, he’s still waiting on DNA results but is stocking up on Latex gloves in the event of a massive examination need!

Now here’s a bonafide TEXAS TALL TALE! For ya’ll. Last week while examining my new camera that Monte gave me to use courtesy of Mr. Paul West, Barber John came in. If ya’ll don’t know Barber John as yet you need to go by the Old Cotton Gin and take your hair! Anyway Barber John has a Pee-Ron-Uh (Piranha), that he claims out of THE Woodlands Mud Pond also known as THE Lake of THE Woodlands. It must be true because Barber John’s boots had been half chewed up, but Regina said they were sandals? The truth behind the story is this. Bobby Holder’s retention pond was not meant to be a stock pond for man eating fish. Some how this carnivorous demon got through the Lake Creek Locks all the way downstream to our Southern neighbors. Ya’ll watch out down there! For further details see Barber John, Bobby is not available for questions, he’s gone Fishing!

Curtis and I went to the Tractor Man’s place the other day, Andy Reed being the tractor man I’m referring to. While there, Sandy Reed told me about her horrible accident she had recently. She lost control of her vehicle and landed in water which soon engulfed her car. She desperately fought to free herself and thanks to her strong faith in the Good Lord, this story has a happy ending. She survived to tell her story, but still sports some severe bruises and two black-eyes. It did my hear good to hear this lady thank our Heavenly Father and Curtis said, God still needs her here on Earth. Thank goodness, who would have watched Andy?

Just a reminder, school will soon be out for summer so let’s hope our students remain safe and return to school in good health.

From Montgomery’s Sagebrush Philosopher until next time. Good Cow Call’n. Good Frog Gigg’n and Go Ags.
