Theft at the New Montgomery Cemetery
How Low Can a Person (s) Go?
Today, my husband, Earle and I visited the New Montgomery Cemetery to pay our respects to our deceased spouses. To my surprise, someone had stolen my new marker. We had this marker placed between the headstones that we will share one day with our deceased spouses. This marker only says Bonnie Sue Butler Odom, to let people in the future know that I was also married to Earle Odom.
I did call the police and they came and took a report. If anyone saw someone in the New Montgomery Cemetery stealing a gray granite marker; please let the Montgomery police know. We are offering a reward to the person that gives information to the arrest and conviction of the sorry person (s) that took my marker or for the location of the marker.
I would also like to say there will be another stone put down and another if this one is taken. The guilty person (s) will eventually be caught and will go to jail. These sorry people will not ruin Earle's and my life.
