Thank you Ms. Bessie.
Ms. Bessie was a great historian and teacher of Texas and local history, but I remember her as the school librarian. Her love of books and the knowledge they contained was communicated to many Montgomery students. How appropriate that a lending library for Montgomery is now underway as the community celebrates her life.
