The (Recovered 07-07-2010) Missing Person is identified as:
Augusta Marie Newmeyer
White Female
Date of Birth: 05-05-87
On July 7th, 2010 at approximately 09:00 AM, members of the Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable Department Marine Division, Pct. 1 Dive Team, Texas Equusearch, and Texas Parks & Wildlife located and recovered the body of a white female in the area where Augusta Marie Newmeyer was last seen. We were able to confirm the body to be that of Augusta Marie Newmeyer by photo identification and other descriptors.
The body was released to the Sam Houston funeral home for transportation to Dallas County Medical Examiners for autopsy at the request of Montgomery County Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 Trey Spikes.
The body was discovered in approximately 22-26 feet of water well within the search grid. Location key map 124 M near the mouth of Little Lake Creek between the Bentwater and Walden Subdivisions.
The following agencies assisted in the search and rescue: The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department, Lake Conroe Forest Fire Department, The North Montgomery County Fire Department, The Montgomery Fire Department, The United States Coast Guard, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Pct. 1 Dive Team and Texas Equusearch.
