How come on NO Refusal Nights the Deputies of Montgomery County arrest DWI's, but every other night they try and hand it off to someone else. ie DPS

Everyone that I've reported, via 911, has always been handled by the area's officer in which the drunken driver was in. If DPS was called in to handle it, then it might be because the driver was close to bordering county lines or else other agencies might have been short handed due to other circumstances in the area?

the bald segnant in the pics is certified to give a field sobriety test. there are few county officers that are. DPS are all certified. There for that is the reason DPS is called to work DWI's.

They never had any right to prohibit public intoxication in the first place. If you drink, you drink. If you die of alcohol poisoning, end of story. This charge gives people a choice: Walk home and get arrested for public intoxication or drive home and get arrested for DWI. That tilts the odds in Blotto Lotto and I don't want them playing Blotto Lotto.

No, there are more choices than the 2 that you laid out. Get a cab, get a friend, get a designated driver or don't get drunk! I've seen police let plenty of PI's off, but when it endangers their life or the PI is totally throwed off in the head, then they'll arrest them. For every person that the cops arrest, comes paperwork, and unless you have a cop that just loves being piled in paperwork, then you're really not going to see a cop arrest someone just because.

Drunks wander into the road while walking and get hit and traumatize somebody for the rest of their lives.
They also get obnoxious and go into businesses where they cause disruptions. Nobody should have to put up with a drunk unless they invite one over.
Intoxication is a right at your house, just like being naked. Nobody else wants to see it. Stay home.

Was that the same weekend Montgomery County Judge Sadler was arrested for suspected drunk driving? And he REFUSED to test, then after 2'1/2 hours later changed his mind after a warrant was issued for his blood...hmmmmm! (Courier)

Someone should ask Mr. Smith about his 2 sons that he wishes were dead. He wouldn't even let them go to Meghans funeral. (their sister). a few months before Meghans death, Mr. Smith shot and killed a man in cold blood in his driveway. It was his neighbor who was trying to get one of the boyfriends to stop speeding up and down the road. But no, You don't hear about this. I wonder why. This man is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Beware.
