March 27, 2009
A Montgomery County jury sentenced Harold Blain Schmidt to life in prison for the 2008 drunk driving death of Eddie Haynes, and critical injuries of his wife Cheryl.
Scott Engle and Jamie Nash were the only reporters on the scene the day repeat DWI offender Schmidt crashed into Eddie and Cheryl Haynes, which was Mother’s Day, 2008. The crash site video and interview with law enforcement is below.

Why is there no crime blotter for the woodlands that is accurate? I have lived there most of my life and almost no crimes get reported to the media.
