Don’t miss Keri Falk Day!
A BBQ benefit / fundraiser will held in Porter on Sunday to help New Caney High School graduate Keri Falk with medical expenses resulting from a horrific automobile crash that caused her leg to be amputated.
Keri graduated with honors from New Caney High School in 2007 and enrolled in Sweet Briar College in Virginia. She was in an accident while en route to a summer internship and was hospitalized for two months. Keri is now in rehab at the Texas Institute for Research and Rehabilitation.
Keri’s medical expenses have been enormous and continue to accrue. Sunday’s benefit is an effort to help.
The event will include performances by Tiny and Courtney Meeker, along with up and coming singing star Sundance Head, who is the son of music legend Roy Head.
Sundance, who lives in EMC, was a contestant in the sixth season of American Idol.
World Record Weightlifters will also perform.
When: Sunday, Oct. 18 - 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
